2. What we collect
2.1 Beta signup (this website)
- Email address — required to invite you to the Google Play beta program.
- IP address & User-Agent — stored for abuse prevention, auto-deleted after 90 days.
2.2 Inside the mobile app
- Language preference — stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage), never sent to our servers.
- No account, no tracking, no analytics. The app does not collect personal data during normal use.
- The app communicates with our backend only to fetch game data (items, pokémons, quests, tasks) — no user identifier is attached.
2.3 Contact / Feedback forms
- Name, email, message — stored so we can respond.
- Auto-deleted 12 months after resolution.
3. How we use your data
- Send you the Google Play beta invitation email (one-time).
- Respond to contact / feedback messages.
- Aggregated anonymous stats (e.g. "13 testers signed up") — never linked to individuals.
We never sell or share your data with third parties. We don't use advertising networks.
4. Third-party services
- Google Play — distributes the beta APK. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Gmail SMTP — sending the welcome email. We don't store your email in Google's systems beyond the delivery.
- wiki.pokexgames.com — the app loads public game images from the wiki directly. No personal data is sent.
5. Data retention
- Beta tester emails: kept until you request deletion, or 6 months after the beta program ends.
- Contact/feedback messages: 12 months.
- Server logs (IP/UA): 90 days.
6. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You can at any time:
- Request a copy of your data we hold.
- Request correction or deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Withdraw consent (unsubscribe from beta) — just email us from the same address.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any right, use the contact form on the home page.
7. Security
Data is stored on a private VPS (SQLite + encrypted disk). All traffic is HTTPS. The database is not publicly accessible. Admin access is protected by a rotating key.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the entry immediately.
